THANK YOU FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION.
The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) is organizing the fourth annual UTEP Project MOVE (Miner Opportunities for Volunteer Experiences) on Saturday, March 9th, 2013. The purpose of the day is to provide students, staff, faculty, and alumni of the University, with an opportunity to give back to the El Paso community as a volunteer. They will experience the importance of civic engagement, leadership and service.
During Project MOVE 2012, more than 1000 volunteers performed numerous hours of community service throughout the Borderland. Many of those volunteers shared positive stories about their participation. While some established new friendships, most learned about the community’s needs and the positive impact they can make when they serve others. Many 2012 volunteers continue to serve community partners today.
