Get Ready for Project MOVE 2017- Save the Date March 4, 2017.

Project MOVE (Miner Opportunities for Volunteer Experiences) is The University of Texas at El Paso’s annual day of volunteer service. The program started in 2010 and draws almost 2,000 members of the Miner Nation to assist scores of nonprofit organizations in a wide range of jobs. Participants build camaraderie and knowledge about the community, its residents and their needs. Project MOVE 2017 will take place on Saturday March 4, 2017.

Community partner proposals are now handled within the CUE system. If you are not already listed within the CUE system please contact the Center for Civic Engagement so they can create your account. The CUE system allows you to continue to post volunteer projects for both Project MOVE as well as a wide range of other volunteer opportunities. Project MOVE projects can be submitted via the Advanced Event tab on your agency view in CUE. If you need additional assistance of someone to walk you through the process you can fill out this form and we will contact you back in regards.

Individuals can reserve their spot on projects as they become available in the system. The first step is to create a login for CUE; as new projects become available you will be able to view them and sign up for them. The CUE system will also let you track all community/volunteer service throughout your UTEP career.
